Demo Portfolio

From ancient epics to original post-apocalyptic drama, this portfolio showcases a range of performances designed to draw the listener in and hold them there. Each recording is crafted with precision - balancing narrative flow, emotional depth, and authentic character voice. Whether it’s breathing life into centuries-old verse, channelling the grit of a lone survivor, or delivering the quiet wisdom of philosophy, every piece here is built to immerse, to resonate, and to stay with you long after the final word.

01

Classical Fiction: The Odyssey
Book IX Odysseus & The Cyclops

A retelling of Homer’s epic voyage, performed with dynamic pacing and rich vocal tone to bring ancient Greece to life. This extract from Book IX captures Odysseus’ tense encounter with the Cyclops, balancing commanding narration with sharp shifts in character voice. The delivery aims to transport the listener from the quiet anticipation of the crew’s landing to the raw menace of the giant’s first words.

02

Strategic Philosophy -
The Art of War by Sun Tzu

A measured, deliberate reading from Sun Tzu’s timeless work on leadership and conflict. The performance blends clarity with gravitas, maintaining the text’s rhythm while allowing its tactical wisdom to resonate. Every pause, emphasis, and inflection is chosen to let the weight of each principle sink in for the listener.

Poetry -
Shy Not by Bennett Berardi

A reflective performance of Bennett Berardi’s Shy Not, exploring how hardship and uncertainty shape who we become.  The poem’s core message - that we should not shrink from the world’s challenges, but instead let them refine and define us - is carried in a voice that moves from gentle contemplation to quiet resolve. It’s a piece that doesn’t just speak to resilience, it lives it in the telling.

Original Fiction - Postapocalyptic:
Ashfall Series: Chapter 3

Part of a post-apocalyptic saga set in a world buried under volcanic ash, Chapter 3 – Ash Mouth follows a small band of survivors navigating danger and distrust. The narration shifts between tension, urgency, and quieter moments of introspection, building a cinematic soundscape that immerses the audience in the bleak beauty of the setting.

Character Monologues: Ashfall

Mason - “Operational Silence”
Gruff and clipped, an ex-military survivor running on discipline and instinct. His voice is the gravel underfoot - deliberate, steady, and unforgiving.

Ivy - “Weight of the Dead”
Impulsive and guilt-ridden, her voice trembles between defiance and regret, carrying the emotional weight of lives she couldn’t save.

Jude - “The Line”
Measured and warm, but weary. Her delivery draws a moral boundary in the ash, reflecting a woman determined to hold onto humanity.

Jackson - “Needle and Ash”
A raw, unsteady Liverpool accent tells the story of loss, desperation, and a drive to save others at any cost - even if it means crossing lines that can’t be uncrossed.
